High levels of congestion at the Chota Motala Interchange in Pietermaritzburg necessitated an upgrade of this interchange. As part of the planning process, we developed a traffic simulation model to assist with the planning, concept and design development of the upgrades.

A multi-modal transport facility to the north of Pretoria CBD, Rainbow Junction will incorporate rail, BRT, bus and minibus taxi services in an integrated and commuter orientated facility. Our role on this project involved the feasibility, planning, concept and design development.

In the UK, Manchester’s Trafford Park Metrolink is a new line to extend the existing, eight-line Metrolink tram network. Our role in the project comprises Multimodal Demand Modelling, urban master planning and development, and appraisal of the business case.

The Non-Motorised Transport Plan (NMT) for eThekwini Municipality (Durban), aims to consolidate and expand on previous initiatives to facilitate and promote NMT within the City. Our role included the policy development, network planning, concept and design development.
